Welcome to the

John C. Merchant Foundation

The John C. Merchant Foundation, established in 2004, is dedicated to honoring the life and memory of our father, grandfather, son, husband, brother and friend. John died of brain cancer in June 2003 and his "live life to the fullest" personality shall be preserved through this organization!

Our mission, through the help of family, friends and corporate sponsors, is to provide resources for the purpose of brain cancer initiatives. Funds raised each year will be distributed to the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center (for brain cancer research) through the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation or any other cause the foundation deems appropriate.

Check out our       NEW Logo

In the past year, we have realized that our Namesake should be on top of the logo. The tag line should be included rather than taking the forefront. While not as bold, we think it looks much better and is a more accurate representation.

We hope you agree!

Many thanks to Cuqui Baum Design for her help in making the needed changes!
